Hatha Mixed-Level Class

The Hatha yoga class provides a foundation for your yoga practice. This class focuses on physical health (strength, balance and flexibility), mindfulness and breath awareness (pranayama). Each class is unique and individual modifications are provided. Students can use a variety of props provided to create a safe and personalized experience. Mary has designed this class for all levels – great for beginners and those continuing to expand and refine their practice.

Gentle yoga classes are a great place to take it a little slower while experiencing the benefits of yoga. This class focuses on releasing tension and gaining strength and flexibility through poses, breathing exercises and meditation. Gentle yoga incorporates both standing and lying positions with modifications inviting everyone to practice in a way that is supportive and healing for their unique body. Mary has designed this class to be appropriate for everyone, regardless of whether a student is new to yoga or experienced, injured or healthy, young or old, pregnant or not, or for those who are seeking a soothing practice.  Please register for one or both of the classes.  

Chair Yoga

Adults of all ages.
Thursdays, 1:30 - 2:15 pm

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga and a great class for those who have less mobility or less range of motion. It incorporates a chair and other props to help support many poses. This class is suitable for various levels because you can individualize your practice and bring more or less intensity to each pose as it suits you.

Yin Yoga

Adults of all ages
First Monday of the Month, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga in which poses are held in stillness and mindful awareness for several minutes at a time. Yin yoga focuses on the connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation to the joints and improving flexibility. The result is not only more flexible joints, but also a greater sense of balance, peace and calm. Props are available to make the practice accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Restorative Yoga

Adults of all ages
Quarterly on Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Restorative yoga offers a chance to deeply relax and counter the stress of our modern lives. This practice uses bolsters, blankets and blocks to prop students in passive poses while blending supportive restorative postures, breathwork, and guided meditation that allows students to rest and refresh!

All ages and experience levels welcome

Strength & Balance is a class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance.  The movements focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power, balance and flexibility.  This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners.  Modifications are provided keeping the movements safe and accessible. Minimal props are needed.
